Anambra State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Afam Obidike, has said that the administration of Governor Chukwuma Soludo is committed to the establishment of strong hub, spoke referral system, which he said is a gateway to efficient healthcare service delivery.
Dr. Obidike stated this at a stakeholders’ meeting in Awka, which had in attendance the Executive Secretary of Anambra State Primary Healthcare Development Agency, General Hospital Administrators, Directors and Officers in charge of Primary Healthcare Centers.
He explained that the essence of the meeting was to review and evaluate effective use of the established referral system in the state.
The Health Commissioner explained that the goal of the Soludo administration is to ensure equitable distribution of highest possible level of healthcare services for Ndi Anambra, by focusing on people’s needs as early as possible to improve prevention of diseases.
Dr. Obidike thanked Governor Soludo for his continued support and commitment in ensuring that Ndi Anambra are provided with special treatment that is affordable and accessible.
