The Anambra State Director of National Orientation Agency, Barrister Charles Nwoji, has called on registered voters to come out en masse today to vote the candidates of their choice, and stay back to watch the process till the end without causing any disharmony within the polling arena, in order to guarantee free, fair and credible polls.

Barrister Nwoji, who made the call while speaking on the 2023 general elections in Awka, urged the electorate not to let the efforts the agency has made concerning the exercise to be in vain by participating massively in the exercise.

The Anambra State NOA Director stressed the need for the electorate to conduct themselves in an orderly manner within the polling arena by obeying all the electoral laws and shunning all forms of unruly behaviors.

He appealed to the people to have special regards for eligible voters living with disabilities by allowing them to exercise their franchise.

Barrister Nwoji also urged the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to ensure proper conduct of the elections by discharging their duties with deep sense of patriotism and responsibility, in order to achieve a credible and violence-free exercise.

He encouraged security agencies on election duty to ensure smooth conduct of the exercise, even as he advised the electorate and the contestants to accept the results of the contest in good faith.

He maintained that where anybody feels dissatisfied with the outcome of the election, he or she should go through the legal process, rather than take the laws into his or her hand.

NOA officials later went to Isuanaocha community, where they sensitized youths on how to vote correctly during the elections.
