A Chieftain of the All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA Chief Ikenna Iyiegbu has called on the people of Anambra State to desist from any act that can bring disunity in the state.

 

Chief Iyiegbu who made the call in Oba Idemili South Local Government Area, said that the progress of the state requires the contribution of all.

 

Chief Iyiegbu who was reacting to the just concluded general elections harped on the need for Ndi Anambra to understand that partisan politics is over and emphasized that more energy should be channeled towards achieving a livable and prosperous Anambra State.

 

He noted that Governor Chukwuma Soludo has performed well within the past one year and called for the support of the people to his vision.

 

He Congratulated the All Progressives Grand Alliance for its wonderful performance in the elections and urged the members to be steadfast as a better future lies ahead.

 

Another chieftain of the All Progressives Grand Alliance Chief Boniface Egbutu, who said that the good work of Governor Soludo earned the All Progressives Grand Alliance majority seat in the forthcoming eight House of Assembly called on Ndi Anambra to see the development of the State as a collective responsibility.

 

He thanked the people of the State for their support to the All Progressives Grand Alliance and Governor Soludo and called for its sustenance.

 

Chief Egbutu who is a community leader at Nise in Awka South Local Government Area described the achievements of Governor Soludo within one year in office as monumental especially in the area of road construction and reconstruction and charged the people to be alive to their responsibilities especially in the area of tax payment and the protection of government facilities against vandalization.
