The Special Adviser to Governor Chukwuma Soludo on Youth Empowerment Programme, Dr Nelson Omenugha, yesterday took the sacrament of matrimony with his wife Chidera.
The wedding mass celebrated by Catholic Bishop of Nnewi Diocese, Most Reverend Jonas Benson Okoye and His Sokoto Diocese Counterpart, Most Reverend Hassan Mathew Kukah took place at Saint Patrick’s Cathedral, Awka.
Dr Nelson Omenugha is an indigene of Nnobi in Idemili South Local Government Area while his wife Chidera is from Ezinifite, Nnewi South Local Government Area.
Speaking at the ceremony , some of the guests including an APGA Chieftain, Chief Ikenna Iyiegbu, Idemili South Constituency House Member Elect, Sir Ebuka Igwe and the President General of Anambra State Association of Town Unions, Barrister Titus Akpudo among others while congratulating them prayed for their union to be blessed with everything that makes a successful marriage.
The wedding ceremony was attended by top government functionaries and other special dignitaries from within and outside the state.
Members of Youth Earnestly Support Soludo both at home and in diaspora also attended the occasion.
Cutting of wedding cake, music and dance climaxed the wedding reception which took place at the Anambra International Convention Center Awka.
