A South African based business executive, Chief Osita Offorzor has commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo for the ongoing construction of Mmiata- Anam-Nzam road project in Anambra West Local Government Area.
Chief Offorzor who gave the commendation while speaking to the ABS, expressed satisfaction with the quality and pace of work done on the road, which earth work has reached an advanced stage.
The business executive who is a native of Umuikwu Anam, made it clear that the road when completed, will be the second road executed by the Anambra state government in the area with quality asphalt since the creation of the new Anambra State over thirty years ago.
Chief Offorzor extolled Governor Soludo for the job and noted that the local government is in need of various social amenities like, electricity, pipe borne water, good medical facilities, standard schools among others.
The business executive also called on the State and federal government to find a lasting solution to the perennial flooding threatening the means of livelihood of his people who are mainly peasant farmers.
He reassured that Ndi Anambra will take ownership of the road when completed, and appealed to him to also consider other roads in the area that need attention.
