Advanced Development Solutions Investment, ADSi Multi-purpose Co-operative Society Limited has organised its one-year anniversary and launching ceremony.

 

The event which held in Awka featured what the organisers termed “vision casting” and award presentation.

ADSi Multi-purpose Co-operative Society Limited, according to its officials, is a member of Anambra State Co-operative and Credit Marketing Union Limited, and was registered with the vision of becoming the most impactful and transformational co-operative society in Nigeria.

 

It hopes to achieve this by redefining sustenance, member-care and accelerating grassroots mobilization and development through value-added services, empowerment programmes and strategic investments, all aimed at enhancing the well-being and socio-economic welfare of the people.

Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, represented by his Deputy Chief of Staff and Chief of Protocol, Mr Chinedu Nwoye, said what the co-operative society is doing is in line with APGA manifesto and will be extended to the grassroot for more impact.

 

He noted that integrity, love among members, as well as sincerity are necessary for continuity and smooth running of a co-operative society, and urged people to network in order to achieve more benefits.

The Speaker of Anambra State House of Assembly, Honourable Somtochukwu Udeze, represented by the member representing Ihiala Two Constituency, Honourable Tony Iloh, said the state legislature will have a parley with the ADSi team for more benefits to the people.

 

Chairman of ADSi Multi-purpose Co-operative Society Limited, Dr. Ogochukwu Soludo, called for support by joining ADSi as member, free-will donations from all, as well as support of strategic partners for the purpose of achieving set goals.

A resource person at the event, and Vice President, South East Institute of Co-operatives Professionals of Nigeria, Lady Nora Egwuatu, among other things, explained that investment in a co-operative society is one of the sure ways of living in present-day Nigeria.

 

Earlier in his opening remarks, the Chairman on the occasion, Prince Chinedu Nsofor, who noted that the grassroot is needed to drive agenda of the Soludo administration, described the ADSi event as a think-home movement that will also help to enhance the weil-being and socio-economic welfare of the people.

 

Members of the State Executive Council, Managing Director of Anambra Broadcasting Service, ABS, Sir Chido Obidiegwu, among others, attended the event.
