The Chairman of the investigative panel of Inquiry into the Abagana, Enugwu- Ukwu, Nawfia, and Ukpo land Crisis, Retired Justice Chinyere Anigbogu, has expressed

dissatisfaction with the failure of some of the communities to submit some documents for peaceful settlement of the dispute, which he said has negatively affected the last day of the panel’s public hearing.
Retired Justice Anigbogu, who regretted the inability of the panel to conclude its public hearing, wednesday, as a result of the failure of the communities and their lawyers to submit the remaining memoranda and other relevant information as directed in the previous sittings, pointed out that the panel would no longer tolerate any act that could delay the timely resolve of the issue.
Justice Anigbogu, also advised the warring communities to remain calm, respectful to one another, as well as avoid any act of violence and assault on opposing sides.
He informed the communities involved in the land dispute that the state government will soon, through the panel, send surveyors to survey the parcels of land under contention, warning them against attack on the surveyors as the government would not take it lightly with any community that tries such.
