Items worth millions of naira have been distributed to members of the public by Dr, Chioma Awuzie foundation.
The empowerment programme, which is part of activities heralding Dr Chioma Awuzie golden birthday anniversary attracted friends and well-wishers.
Speaking at the empowerment exercise which took place in Asaba Delta State the celebrant Dr Awuzie noted that the non-governmental Organization initiated in 2022 with the mandate of impacting positively on humanity.
According to her, the programme is another opportunity to appreciate and support members, who have contributed to the success of the foundation.
She explained that the foundation is set to complement and assist individuals and expand scope of businesses and pledged commitment towards its sustainability.
In his remark, the Chairman of the Golden Birthday Planning Committee, Dr Henry Ogu, pointed out that the benefactor has remained a source of blessings to humanity.
Describing her as a philanthropist per excellence and woman with a heart of gold, Dr Ogu called on the affluent and we’ll meaning citizens to key into such initiative and invest in humanitarian gesture, so as to alleviate the plight of the downtrodden.
Some of the beneficiaries, including Mrs Chinonye Okolonji and Ifeoma Nnoruka, observed that her passion has restored hope to the needy and prayed God to enlarge her coast.
