The Transition Committee Chairman of Nnewi North Local Government Area,Engineer Chris Obiorah has charged the staff members of Nnewi North Local Government Area to more dedication to duty to drive the solution agenda for a more livable and prosperous Nnewi North.

 

Engr Obiora gave the charge during their routine management and staff forum meeting of Nnewi North Local Government held at Council Headquarters Nnewi.

Stressing on the need for workers to be productive, creative and proactive, Engr Obiorah, commended them for their commitment so far and harped on the need for improvement.

 

He encouraged them to prioritize the growth and development of the local government above their personal interest and assured of greater commitment to improving their working environment as well as their welfare.

Engineer Obiorah commended the Head of Local Government Administration, of Nnewi North, Engr. Val Onuorah and the entire Heads of Departments that are truly committed to the service of Nnewi North and enjoined them to sustain the tempo while calling on others to sit up for the new work ethics and tempo.

 

The chairman used the occasion to emphasize the need for them to be ambassadors of the solution agenda, including the clean, green and sustainable environment initiative and stressed the need for the workers to ensure that policies and programmes s of Governor Soludo gets to the grassroots to enable the people of Nnewi benefit from it, including the one youth two skills entrepreneurship scheme second phase, Solution Innovation District initiative, among others.

The Head of the Local Government Administration, Engineer Onuorah, equally enjoins the management and staff of Nnewi North council to uphold the tenets of patriotism in their attitude to work and charged them to give the TC Chairman support to enable him perform optimally.

 

Present at the meeting were, Head of Department of Agriculture, Nwanja Oby, Head Of Department of Works, Engineer Onuchukwu John, Internal Auditor, Nnohim Ngozi, Head Of Department of Environment, Chukwuka Esther, Director of Administration, Mr. Augustine Ogbunuku, among others

Engineer Obiorah alongside the local government management inspected the newly renovated Nnewi North Local Government Education Building and the new shuttle buses for Nnewi North Strike Force.
