The Chairman, Catholic Men Organization of St. Patrick’s Cathedral Awka, Mr. Obinna Anakwuba has given a pass mark to Governor Chukwuma Soludo for his noteworthy developmental strides in the state.

 

Mr. Anakwuba made the commendation during the CMO’s quarterly meeting which also highlighted the one-year score card of its present executive.

 

According to the CMO Chairman, the Governor is effectively tackling the insecurity challenges in the state, and infrastructurally rehabilitating roads in the Awka capital city and other communities in the state at a time the rains are heavy.

 

He urged Governor Soludo to look into the issue of heavy taxation in the state with a view to monitoring the activities of some revenue agents who claim to be working for the state government and urged fathers in the parish to rededicate themselves as fathers to build their homes, the parish and society at large.

 

Mr. Anakwuba called on catholic fathers who are yet to register with the association to do so for their spiritual growth and the growth of the parish and noted with delight the successes recorded by the CMO within the one year of the present administration which has made some reforms such as exempting aged members from eighty years and above from all forms of levies, establishing its cultural dance known as “Nnabugwu Cultural Dance’, running an open-door policy, and effectively participating in all parish and deanery activities.
