Some of the projects executed in Anaocha Local Government Council in the last one year has been commissioned.
The projects commissioned were a modern car park built at the local government secretariat, Neni and a solar powered borehole project at Adazi-Ani.
The Anambra State Commissioner for Local Government, Chieftaincy and Community Affairs, Honourable Tony-Collins Nwabunwanne while commissioning the projects, commended the Transition Committee Chairman Mr. Gerald Ozoh for being proactive and dedicated.
Honourable Nwabunwanne noted that the local government system has greatly improved under Governor Soludo to truly represent its position as the government nearest to the people.
Earlier, Mr Ozoh reassured of delivering good governance in the local government area to complement the efforts of Governor Chukwuma Soludo in achieving the livable and prosperous Anambra State agenda.
Mr. Ozoh during the commissioning thanked Governor Soludo for the opportunity to serve and promised greater commitment to achieving a better and a more progressive Anaocha through service to the people and maintained that the borehole project was cited at Adazi-Ani community primary school to serve the school, the church and people within the area due to their inability to access good pipe born water over time.
A stakeholder in Anaocha local government area, Chief Cyril Okoye, in a vote of thanks appreciated Governor Soludo for appointing people with vision to drive the Solution agenda and assured the Governor of the support of Ndi Anaocha and Adazi-Ani in particular.
The Member One, Local Government Service Commission, Chief Azubuike Okoye, the Anambra State Youth Leader of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) Dr Tochukwu Obiadi, the President General of Adazi-Ani Town Union, Barrister Ikechukwu Ezechukwu, among other critical stakeholders attended the function.
Fetching and drinking from the new borehole by the people of the community climaxed the events.
