The Desk Officers of various Anambra State Health Insurance Agency accredited health facilities have been urged to always treat ASHIA enrollees with respect at all times.
The Managing Director of Anambra Heath Insurance Agency, ASHIA, Dr. Simeon Onyemaechi gave this advice during a meeting with the ASHIA Desk Officers held at the headquarters of the Agency in Awka.
Dr. Onyemaechi explained that all ASHIA beneficiaries are entitled to receive the maximum attention and respect accorded to other patients and should not be treated differently or otherwise.
He announced the addition of new drugs to the tariff, some of which includes Aceclofenac, vasoprin coated tab, metformin SR, mesoprostol, among others
The ASHIA boss pleaded with the desk officers to be open-minded and attentive to the enrollee and addressed the issues which the Health Care Professionals, HCP’s Desk Officers encounter on the end-to-end portal and assured them that it has been fully rectified.
