The Anglican Bishop of Ogbaru Diocese Right Reverend Prosper Amah says accepting Jesus Christ comes with total healing, breakthroughs and recovery.
In a sermon at Saint James Diocesan Church Centre Iyiowa Odekpe during a Cash harvest of Anglican Diocese of Ogbaru, Right Reverend Amah charged the faithful to embrace Jesus as their Lord and personal Saviour in order to receive more of His blessings.
Bishop Amah, who maintained that any sacrifice made towards the service of God will never go unrewarded, charged the faithful to always honour Ministers of God who are the representatives of God on Earth.
Bishop Amah who made references on how prophet Elisha visited the Shunamite Woman’s husband who was rich but without a child and after they entertained him, Prophet Elisha prophesied that they will have a son which later came to fruition.
The Ogbaru Diocesan Bishop maintained that following Jesus and believing the words of Ministers of God with faith always yields fruit and cautioned Christians of negative behavior that will contradict their faith and belief in God.
Bishop Amah also stated that with trust and firm belief, Jesus Christ raised Lazarus, the brother of Mary and Martha from the dead.
He charged the faithful to cultivate the habit of giving thanks to God for all His benevolence, urging Nigerians not to lose hope with series of challenges facing the country.
The Vicar of the Church Venerable Ifenna Toochukwu who thanked the Bishop for choosing Saint James Diocesan Church centre Iyiowa Odekpe for the Diocesan Harvest and charged affluent Christians to always donate to evangelism for the expansion of God’s Kingdom on Earth.
The service which was attended by the President of Ogbaru Diocesan Women’s Ministry Dr Uche Amah, Diocesan officials and various church organizations featured special prayer for the Nigerian Nation and various families in distress.
