The Anambra State Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Sir Ifeatu Obi-Okoye has commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s strategic engagements towards building a livable and prosperous Anambra State.
Chief Obi-Okoye was reacting to the Governor’s announcement on having quality education which will be free to all Anambra children in public schools from primary to Junior Secondary three.
The announcement also confirmed that those in senior secondary classes are not to pay anything above five thousand naira.
Chief Obi-Okoye said that the announcement is not just timely given the hard times people are going through now but it is also a game changer, as it will ensure that there is no out-of-school child in Anambra State.
Noting that quality education is the key to a brighter future, Chief Obi-Okoye maintained that the Governor has given equal opportunity to Anambra children and encouraged parents to maximize the opportunity and thanked Governor Soludo for such a decisive move, saying that it is a right step in the right direction towards having a human resource that is productive at home and exportable abroad.
He further commended Governor Soludo for his promise to address the infrastructural decay in the public schools, saying that Anambra is truly the light of the nation.
