Anambra CP Adeoye Extols Soludo For Support To Command

The Anambra state Commissioner of Police, Mr. Aderemi Adeoye has commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo for his constant support to the command since he assumed office.

Mr. Adeoye stated this while receiving the Acting Director, News and Current Affairs Department of the ABS, Mrs. Judy-Jeff Nwabueze who called on him, with some members of the department.

Playing host to the group, Mr. Adeoye said that they are expecting brand new security vehicles from the Governor whom he said has refurbished all the security vehicle they are using presently.

Mr. Adeoye went down memory lane on his relationship with the ABS during his stay in Anambra some time ago and said he is still available to offer security to the establishment whenever the need arises.

The CP said, that the work of media in national development cannot be over emphasized , thanking the ABS Managing Director, Sir Chido Obidiegwu for sensitizing Ndi Anambra on the activities of the command and how combatant ready the command is.

He welcomed the Acting DNCA whom he advised to always keep her eyes on the ball and work hard to promote her department and the entire station, pledging his support at all times.

Earlier, the Acting Director News, of the ABS, Mrs. Nwabueze said the visit was to familiarize with the CP, and to commend him for the successes recorded so far in terms of security in the state.

Mrs. Nwabueze thanked him for being on ground in the fight against insecurity and for making sure that streets of Anambra are safe, and for having the welfare of police officers serving in Anambra at heart, urging him not to relent.

She assured him of timely reportage of the programmes of the command aimed at protection of lives and property of Ndi Anambra.

While briefing the CP on the reason for the visit, Rotarian Abuchi Nwozor, a senior editor in the News Department of the ABS, lauded Mr. Adeoye for all he is doing in the area of combating crimes and criminality, and called on him to detail his men to ABS at intervals as a way of keeping the establishment safe.

In a vote of thanks, the Vice Chairman, NUJ, Anambra state council, and an editor in ABS, comrade Ngozi Obileri, extolled the efforts of the Commissioner so far which according to her is making waves, and thanked him for the warm reception he accorded them.
