Anambra State Pupils have won bronze medals in the just concluded twenty-sixth edition of the National Junior Engineers, Technicians and Scientists Competition held in Abuja.
Miss Mary Cynthia Dennis Chinemere and Master Nnoghuga Chisimdi Praise of All Saints Primary School Onitsha who represented Anambra State in the competition won the bronze medal in free choice project exhibition and science quiz competition in the primary school category.
Receiving the Anambra State contingents in her office, The Executive Chairman, Anambra State Universal Basic Education Board, ASUBEB, Dr. Vera Nwadinobi congratulated the pupils for making Anambra State proud and extolled the efforts of Governor Chukwuma Soludo, towards improving Education and standardizing basic education curriculum in the State.
Dr. Nwadinobi further noted that the huge investment of Governor Chukwuma Soludo in basic Education especially the employment of quality teachers in hard-to-reach areas, training and retraining of teachers will continue to place Anambra ahead of other states.
Dr. Nwadinobi implored the victorious team to continue in high spirit and deploy more efforts in other subsequent competitions saying that Anambra State under the leadership of Governor Soludo has always taken the first position in all external competitions within Nigeria and in the diaspora.
