The Transition Committee chairman of Anaocha local government area, Chief Gerald Ozoh has charged parents and caregivers in the local government area to make their children and wards available for the ongoing immunization exercise against Polio.
Speaking to the ABS on the importance of the ongoing vaccination against Polio across Anambra State, Chief Ozoh who described Polio as a dangerous ailment capable of retarding the growth and Progress of any child if not detected early, called on parents and caregivers to present their children within the ages of zero to fifty-nine months for the immunization to secure a brighter future for them.
The transition committee chairman, described the ongoing immunization exercise against Polio in Anambra State as part of efforts of Governor Chukwuma Soludo towards improving the living standards of the people and called on Ndi Anambra to continue with their support and prayers to his administration.
He maintained that series of Programmes and policies by the Soludo administration in Anambra State, including the one youth two skills Initiative, where five thousand youths recently graduated from various skills, with cash empowerment by the government, showed that Governor Soludo is committed to touching lives and charged the Youths to embrace the scheme in order to become employers of labour.
Chief Ozoh who also spoke about the ongoing Construction and reconstruction of various roads across the State especially those in the hinterlands by the administration of Professor Soludo, disclosed that such gesture will apart from improving human and vehicular movements across the state, boost business transactions and charged the people to be alive to their civic responsibilities especially in the areas of prompt payment of approved tax and other levies to enable the government to continue to serve them better.
