The President of the National Council for Women societies in Anambra State Lady Theresa Nnalue says the ongoing immunization against Polio in Anambra State is a clear indication that Governor Chukwuma Soludo is committed to securing a bright future for the children.

 

Speaking in an interview with the ABS in Awka on the importance of the exercise, Lady Theresa Nnalue charged the Women to make their children and wards available for the exercise describing Polio as a dangerous ailment that retards the progress of any child if not detected at the early stage.

 

The President of the National Council for Women Societies in Anambra State Lady Theresa Nnalue, who described Quality health as the right of every child and called on the government at different levels to place high priority on it.

 

She commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo for his resolve to making healthcare delivery affordable to Ndi Anambra through the revamping of General Hospitals and Primary Health Care centers in the 326 electoral wards across the state and called on Ndi Anambra to continue with their support and prayers for his administration.

 

Lady Theresa Nnalue applauded the Wife of the Governor of Anambra State, Mrs Nonye Soludo for using her pet project ‘Healthy living with Nonye Soludo’ to improve the health of the people, especially in creating awareness on the necessary tips that will aid longevity and in domiciling the programme in primary Schools across the State.

 

The President of the National council for Women societies in Anambra State, used the opportunity to charge Mothers to continue being alive to their responsibilities especially in the area of giving their children proper home training to enable them assert their roles properly as future leaders.
