Asphalting will be completed on the Niger -Haruna street Onitsha by Thursday this week.
The Marketing Manager of TEC Construction Company, Mr. Yaguang Xiao announced this while speaking to ABS Works Correspondent, Ngozi Obileri, who monitored pace and quality of work on the road.
According to Mr. Xiao, they commenced asphalting on the road last week Friday, and has covered more than one kilometer out of the two-point one kilometer road.
He said that they have completed stone base on the road, done drainage on one side, and walk way on the other side of the road.
While expressing appreciation to Governor Chukwuma Soludo for reversing his earlier decision to revoke the contract, Mr. Xiao noted that they promised to deliver the job before Christmas, and will not renege on the promise.
He said that they will complete channeling of flood from the road to the River Niger as soon as they complete the project.
