The Special Adviser to Governor Chukwuma Soludo on Youth Empowerment Programme, Dr Nelson Omenugha has reminded youths of Anambra State the need to live a life of vision, value and impact.

Dr Omenugha who addressed the youths of Nnobi in Idemili South Local Government Area during their walk for peace, health and unity in the community and the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Anambra West chapter during their sensitization programme on effects of drug abuse and inauguration of community representatives and directors at Umuoba Anam emphasized that living a life of value and impact will always position one to maximize the available opportunities for self-development and growth.

Dr Omenugha further stated that the current administration in the state led by Governor Soludo is determined to build a great future for the youths and is committed to building human resources that are useful at home and exportable abroad.

He pointed out the importance of education and skill acquisition in the development of any youth and advised that youths of the state should maximize the opportunities provided by Governor Soludo through the one youth, two skills entrepreneurship programme, palm and coconut revolution, employment opportunities among others to better secure their future.

 

Dr Omenugha encouraged them to become problem solvers starting from their various communities and not to be part of the problems to be solved.

Speaking on the negative effects of drug abuse, the Special Adviser appealed to the youths to desist from hard drugs and to sustain the campaign against drug abuse as the future belongs to youths with value.
