Governor Chukwuma Soludo has been honoured with an award of recognition for boosting Culture in Anambra State during the first National stakeholders review conference on the National Festival of Arts and Culture 2023 in Abuja.
Anambra State Commissioner for Culture, Entertainment and Tourism Comrade Don Onyenji announced this in Awka.
The Commissioner also commended the Anambra State Cultural Troup for their outstanding performance during the event.
According to him, stakeholders at the event were the Commissioners, Permanent secretaries, and Directors of Culture from the thirty-six states of federation and Abuja gathered with the management of National council for Arts and Culture led by Otunba Runsewe to discuss on how to develop Nigeria in the areas of Tourism and culture.
On his part, the Director General of the National Council for Arts and Culture Otunba Runsewe in a communique at the end of the conference appreciated God for journey mercies granted to the participants, saying that the outcome of the conference would help move the Cultural sector of the nation’s economy forward.
He charged stakeholders to rise to the challenge of using culture to drive the nation’s economy.
