Anambra State government has urged residents of the state to disregard the press release issued by the Anambra State Waste Management Authority, ASWAMA, on monthly environmental sanitation exercise.
A statement signed by the Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr. Christian Aburime states that the Monthly Environmental Sanitation Exercise earlier announced to hold on December 16, 2023, restricting Vehicular and human movements by the Anambra State Waste Management Authority, ASWAMA, was not authorized by the State Government.
According to the statement, consequently, the state government is urging the citizens to disregard the announcement, and should go about their normal daily businesses
The government, apologizes for any inconveniences the misleading announcement may have caused the general public.
