Peoples Club of Nigeria International, has held its 2023 Annual General Meeting, at the Main Hall of the Club’s Headquarters, Onitsha-Owerri Road with members including patrons, national officers, Trustees from different parts of the world in attendance.

 

The event began with a procession of the patrons of the club led by the President.

A chartered accountant Chief James Okocha, presented the Audited Financial Report of the club from 2017 to 2022.

 

The President of Peoples Club, Chief Joe Ilonze said the aim of the Annual General Meeting was for the executive to render accounts for the year saying that Peoples Club has aims and objectives.

Chief Ilonze said the club promotes recreational and social activities and understanding among its members and members of the public, giving palliatives to the less privileged among others in line with the motto of the club which is Unity, Love and Service.

 

A patron of the club who came from Atlanta, Georgia, U.S.A Chief Wilson Azih, said the Club’s audited financial report from 2017 to 2022 was perfect and transparent attributing it to good leadership, pointing out that majority of their members were present and stressed that they cannot allow anarchy of any type in their prestigious club.

Ogochukwu Oranu reports that other highlights of the Annual General Meeting include, reading of club’s constitution, aims and objectives of the club to members, Club’s anthem, among others.
