G.I. Okafor and Sons Limited, the makers of WINCO brand of mattresses and pillows, has continued to receive commendations from the public for its outstanding qualities in foam production.
The latest commendation came from the Anambra state sector commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, Mr Adeoye Irelewuyi, when he led some members of the management of the command to appreciate the Managing Director of the establishment, Dr Godwin Ifeanyichukwu Okafor, Anyanwuora One of Isuofia in Aguata Local Government Area for his support and encouragement to the corps which he said is being recognized by the National Headquarters in Abuja.
The Sector Commander who during the occasion performed a facility tour of the factory also commended Dr Okafor for using the company to help the government in reducing unemployment rate in the country in addition to contributing to the nation’s GDP.
Similarly, Mr Akan Emah, the Governor of Rotary International District 9142 comprising Anambra, Enugu, Abia, Imo, Ebonyi, Cross River and Akwa-Ibom states also visited the company and expressed satisfaction with the quality of foam being produced by the company. Many Heads of establishments at federal and state levels and private individuals using WINCO foam, have continued to give eloquent testimonies about its quality and durability.
Remarkably, the Standards Organization of Nigeria, SON, has equally issued the company a Mandatory Conformity Assessment Programme, MANCAP certificate. The certificate is awarded to companies that have passed the standardization tests on quality production in conformity with the production guidelines issued solely by SON.
