UK Prime Minister Burnham Reaffirms Unwavering Support for Ukraine
United Kingdom Prime Minister Andy Burnham has reaffirmed his government’s unwavering support for Ukraine during a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, pledging to stand by the war-torn nation for as long as necessary.

Burnham, who hosted Zelenskyy as the first foreign leader to visit the UK since he assumed office, described the visit as a clear demonstration of the strong and enduring partnership between both countries. He assured Ukraine of Britain’s continued military, diplomatic and economic backing in its defence against Russia’s invasion.

During the meeting, the British Prime Minister announced plans to transfer the intellectual property of the UK’s new Stone Cloak electronic warfare technology to Ukraine, enabling the country to manufacture the system locally to strengthen its drone operations and battlefield capabilities.

President Zelenskyy welcomed the renewed commitment, expressing appreciation for the UK’s steadfast support and the deepening cooperation between the two countries in defence and security.
